Hello. Welcome to my Tom Harman State Farm insurance website. We are located in beautiful Charlotte, NC. Although my State Farm team mainly works with the Ballantyne area of Charlotte, we are licensed to assist all of North Carolina and South Carolina with car insurance, renters insurance, homeowner insurance, life insurance and commercial insurance, as well as other policy services.

Since becoming a State Farm agent in 1991, I’ve taken great pride in ALWAYS being present for our customers by providing unrivaled service. We answer the phones. We show up. We're local and present.

I'm proud of our team as we've earned the Ambassador Travel, President’s Club and Chairman's Club Qualifier multiple times. We also earned the Don T Zimmerman award for THE quality agent in NC and VA, twice.

Outside of my insurance office, I like giving back to my community as a member of the Ballantyne Rotary Club and contributing to numerous causes and charities, including our local food pantry, homeless shelter and clean water projects in Haiti. I also enjoy quality family time, traveling and golfing in my free time.

I earned BSBA at WVU, MBA at Marshall University and extended insurance studies in earning the CLU and ChFC designations from The American College. I earned the Eagle Scout award and Ballantyne Rotarian of the Year. Many people say I have a servants heart and that sets the culture of the office.
